My Name is Bill Ashbridge. I was born and raised in south London where I still live.

In 2018 I graduated from Bath Spa University where I studied Acting. My recent work has included a Bath to Camden Tour of Frank McGuinness’ ‘Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me’ in which I performed and directed (as ‘Under One Roof Productions). Earlier in 2018 I performed at Sparkfest and the Bath Fringe Festival in a production of Anthony Nelsons’ ‘Normal’ in which I played Justus Wehner. It was an immensely satisfying and challenging part.

Additional courses and training:

Stage Combat, taught by Gordon Kemp, in which I learned Broad Sword (Distinction), Knife (Distinction) and 18th Century Short Sword (Distinction) skills.

A handful of nights playing Stand Up at Burdels Yard in Bath.

I’m a crack shot with a gun, gaining “Silver” at Bisley Young Shots Clay Pigeon Shooting 2015.

I am at the beginning of what I hope to be a long and satisfying career in theatre, film and television. Actors/performers I admire most include: Sir Ian McKellen, Mark Gatiss, Lee Ingleby, Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and the epic Rik Mayall.
